I've got two reverbs and my first gen version had issues (needed a couple bleeds over its first six months) but after a switch to the new housing it has performed flawlessly. The newer second gen version has been solid through its first season. Can't speak for the mechanical posts as I haven't owned one but I have no problem recommending the reverb. Kind of expensive if you pay retail and its more of a convenience item, not a necessity, so its definitely not for everyone. If you have the cheddar though, I say go for it.
Chris Sugoi has overdosed on his 29er koolaid...
To each his/her own but the only place I'd put these is on a bike in a showroom. For the price and the fact that the pedals are gonna get punished at the bike park there's no way to justify having these over other things that money could buy. Unless money is no object...unfortunately not in my case.
Pardon my ignorance but "Avalanche"? Never heard of it...
upperclass....hardly....hard working individual who earns his keep and his toys...definitely
actually...one for my 30.9 seatpost....and one for my 31.6 post you schmuck...
jcinkits, I'm sure Stryke wasn't implying that the crime was ok to commit by saying the criminals were clever...it wasn't a morality judgement he made....just an observation about the crime itself... I'm sure he hopes they get caught and punished just like everyone else on here...
I've got two Reverbs and they've been outstanding so far...easy to service, very reliable, plenty of travel....this version seems like a good idea but I've had no problems with routing my cables for my rides...maybe for certain frames it could help though...
huckfinn....who does Gwin ride for these days?
But like Dave Chappell demonstrated; everyone/ thing looks cooler in slowmotion.....
At regular speed its just a guy riding down the greenway on a cruiser bike....
Ok, now lets see that same shot ....in slow motion....
Now that guy's a badass pro downhiller plowing through a rock garden at Fort Williams...
Got a couple protos that are coming to my LBS....can't wait to test ride!
